Others found this information. I'm just one out of many compilers! A lot of my readers are in CA, so I wanted to do something to help. The below resources are all taken from numerous forums, blogs, Mastodon accounts, and otherwise. The below is a mix match of resources. I'll send some disability resources later when I found a good number of them but for now, help out community instead of capital!

If you are outside of CA like I am, you can help people applying for these resources. Again, help community, not capital!

Lyft

Free and discounted rides to help those in the affected areas. Riders in need can use the code CAFIRERELIEF25, valid for two rides up to \$25 each (\$50 total) for 15,000 riders from now until 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 15.

UBER

[free Uber ride]{.underline} up to \$40 by applying the promo code "WILDFIRE25" in the Wallet section of their Uber app before requesting a ride to a designated shelter location. YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles

Is [opening its locations]{.underline} that aren\'t affected by the fires for temporary shelter, showers, basic amenities, and mental health support. They have also teamed up with L.A. Unified School District to provide childcare services for essential workers and affected families until schools reopen. Register on their website

ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL RESOURCES

Musicares

A nonprofit safety net of health and welfare services for the music community, is [offering immediate]{.underline} [assistance to anyone in the music industry,]{.underline} including \$1,500 in financial aid and \$500 food vouchers. Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation

Is providing emergency funds for members of the theatrical distribution and exhibition community affected by the Los Angeles-area fires. Dramatists Guild Foundation

[Crisis Relief Grants available to dramatists]{.underline} (composers, lyrists, playwrights, librettists) who have evacuated or experienced loss in the fires. The grants can be used for rental costs, medical needs and insurance payments. More information and applications for the grants can be found online.

Motion Picture and Television Fund

Is working to provide financial assistance and a multitude of social services to working and retired members of the entertainment community. The organization's social workers are currently taking hotline calls and will return them as quickly as possible. In addition to providing financial assistance, MPTF will also provide case management services to support industry members through the many federal and state and other resources that might be available to them. Inclusive Action

Has launched a new emergency fund to help outdoor workers that includes street vendors, landscapers and recyclers affected by the fires. Through this fund impacted outdoor workers can apply for one-time cash assistance support of \$500. Recipients will receive cash payments on a first-come, first-served basis, and as funding allows. BABY SUPPLIES / CHILD CARE

 A Los Angeles-based nursery furniture brand, is providing free cribs to any families who have lost their homes or otherwise are affected by the fires. For more information contact the company at [info@babyletto.com]{.underline}

Los Angeles-area YMCA locations

 Offering free child care for children of first responders, essential workers and families who have been displaced, evacuated or who have otherwise experienced loss. Boys and Girls Clubs

Some chapters in the Los Angeles region are having extended hours to provide support and shelter for youths and families. Participating clubs are offering safe spaces and distributing prepared meals and emergency child-care assistance. Call your Boys and Girls Club before visiting to ensure it is participating.

Community Resource Center in Pomona

 Offering free resources Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Also offer free services Mon-Fri 9am5pm. Provided items include baby supplies, emergency kits, food pantry and on-site resource referrals. Upwards

Is supporting daycare providers and families impacted by the fires. Upwards is currently reaching out to daycare providers to ensure their safety, assisting with immediate needs and temporary lodging, and helping assess the damage and plan for recovery. The network is also assisting families in locating available childcare options.
